Rich is spending his weekend doing GOTV, but I plan on slipping away for a few hours to check out the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival. This year it’s on both Saturday and Sunday, and it sounds like it’s going to be a good time. Lots of food to sample, cooking demonstrations to watch, and some interesting lectures to attend. My suggestion is to bring an empty stomach and an open mind. And it’s all free!
I did this a couple times while I lived in Boston, and it’s great fun and they generally have give-aways along with the tastings. One year Trader Joe’s was giving away regular sized boxes of soup. You might want to bring an empty canvas bag, too! Enjoy!
I’ll be there – on the early side (gotta leave for work around noon). See you there? 🙂
Hey! Not sure yet which day works best. I need to pick up some black mustard seed (a very disappointing cauliflower dish would have been sooo much better if that spice was fresher) and need to hit up Russo’s, too. But I definitely will be there at some point. 🙂
